An actress's legal team has released a statement to address rumors related to a series that aired a decade ago.

In 2015, the Chinese drama Diamond Lover gained immense popularity in China, accumulating over 3.3 billion views online. The show featured K-Pop sensation Rain, along with Chinese actresses Tiffany Tang and Dilraba Dilmurat, and Chinese actor Luo Jin. Tiffany Tang, the lead actress who starred alongside Rain, portrayed an aspiring jewelry designer who discovers self-confidence after a physical transformation.

Recently, executive producer Liu Yang shared a behind-the-scenes anecdote about Diamond Lover, praising Dilmurat. According to Yang, the lead actress, Tiffany Tang, arrived on set a month later than expected, causing a delay in production.

Due to Tang's delayed arrival, Dilmurat, who played one part of the secondary couple in the show, took on additional scenes. Diamond Lover served as a breakthrough role for Dilmurat, leading her to win the Audience's Favorite Newcomer award at the 7th China TV Drama Awards for her performance.

Yang's story sparked intense online discussions, particularly among Tang's fans, prompting Tang's legal team to address the situation. They refuted Yang's claims, stating that Tang commenced filming Diamond Lover as planned, clarifying that the production was informed of her schedule in advance. Tang was set to join the set after wrapping up filming for another series.
