Mum-of-four Christina Spicuzza was working as an Uber driver to earn extra money for her family. She was engaged to Brandon Marto and lived in Monroeville, Pennsylvania with her four children.

Christina, known as Christi, had a supportive relationship with Brandon despite his past struggles with alcohol addiction. On February 10, 2022, while on a busy shift, Christina picked up a male passenger named Calvin Crew. Crew, 22, later kidnapped and killed her in a horrific incident.

During the ride, Crew pulled out a gun, leading to a terrifying ordeal captured on dashcam footage. Despite Christina's pleas, Crew shot her in the head. Her body was found the next day in a woodland area.

Investigators found the dashcam near where Crew was dropped off. The footage provided crucial evidence leading to Crew's arrest and eventual conviction for first-degree murder, robbery, and kidnapping. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Christina's family emphasized her compassionate nature and religious beliefs throughout the trial. Crew's actions were condemned, and he was held accountable for his heinous crime.
