Jimmy Barnes has reached out to fans for help in locating a missing family member. The Australian singer, 69, took to Facebook to ask for assistance in finding his son Jackie James Barnes' nephew, who has been reported missing.

Blake Powell, 14, was last seen in Sydney's Castle Hill on Friday at 4pm. Described as 185cm tall, with a thin build, 70kg, Caucasian appearance, olive complexion, brown hair, and eyes, the young boy is known to frequent public transport and shopping malls in Sydney.

Concerns for his welfare have been raised due to his young age. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers or Castle Hill Police.

This plea comes as Barnes faces ongoing health challenges, including multiple surgeries over the past year and a half. Despite these setbacks, he remains optimistic and has shown resilience in his recovery.

After canceling gigs last August for a hip operation, Barnes underwent another surgery on his hip recently. He has also battled a staph infection that affected his heart and hip, requiring additional medical procedures and recovery time.

Despite these health issues, Barnes made a successful return to the stage in October with his band Cold Chisel, delighting fans with their performances on The Big Five-0 tour.
