The Irish Exporters Association (IEA) has recognized Wicklow-based businesses Glenhaven Foods and Ventac by shortlisting them in multiple categories for the prestigious Export Industry Awards.

Glenhaven Foods, a chicken product producer founded by the Cahill family over three decades ago in Arklow, has been nominated in the Private Irish Business category. On the other hand, Ventac, a Blessington company specializing in acoustic solutions for commercial vehicles and industrial noise sectors, has received nominations in the Export Innovation and Manufacturing Exporter categories.

These nominations serve as a significant acknowledgment for the companies in Wicklow, with the Export Industry Awards honoring excellence within Ireland's export sector.

The winners of each category and the Overall Exporter of the Year for 2025 will be revealed during a gala dinner on October 3 at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre.

In addition to the nominations, Glenhaven and Ventac will have the opportunity to take part in the IEA Masterclass conducted by Trinity Executive Education on June 16. This masterclass aims to assist exporting companies and industry supporters in developing adaptive strategies for rapidly changing international markets.

Following the announcement of the shortlist, Simon McKeever, CEO of IEA, expressed his thoughts, saying, "The Export Industry Awards serve as a platform to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of Ireland's exporters. I extend my congratulations to all the companies that have been shortlisted for this remarkable achievement. These companies have not only showcased exceptional innovation and resilience but have also established a standard of excellence within the export sector."
