Cebuana Lhuillier’s highly anticipated Search for the Happiest Pinoy is making a comeback, and with the deadline of July 31, 2025, approaching rapidly, the competition is heating up to discover the most inspiring and uplifting stories of Filipino resilience and joy. This is an opportunity to participate in a nationwide celebration and have a chance to win a portion of the tax-free prizes amounting to up to ₱1 million!

Jean Henri Lhuillier, the President and CEO of Cebuana Lhuillier, highlighted the importance of the initiative, stating, “Happiest Pinoy reflects our enduring belief that Filipinos are inherently hopeful, joyful, and resilient. It remains a powerful platform to honor individuals who embody the true Filipino spirit—those whose boundless joy uplifts others, even in the face of life’s toughest challenges.”

Launched in 2009, the Happiest Pinoy is a flagship advocacy of Cebuana Lhuillier that celebrates the Filipino spirit of optimism despite adversities. After a hiatus of five years, its much-anticipated return has garnered over 400,000 nominations, demonstrating the continued resonance of its message with Filipinos nationwide.

This year’s search features a wider and more inclusive range of categories, recognizing inspiring individuals from various walks of life. These categories include Masayahing Gen Z, Happy at 60, No Way Kapansanan, Inspiradong Champion, Bagong Bayani, Hatid Sigla, Bibo sa Negosyo, Proud as Pride, and Creative Pinoy. Additionally, two special categories have been introduced: Katutubo (TRIBO) and Happiest Ka-Cebuana.

The Happiest Pinoy search is open to all Filipinos who consistently exhibit a positive outlook, have overcome personal obstacles, and inspire others through their optimism. Entries can be submitted through online forms, email, physical forms at Cebuana Lhuillier branches, or via courier. Participants are encouraged to present their stories in creative formats like scrapbooks, vlogs, or short films.

The campaign not only recognizes inspiring individuals but also rewards them with generous cash prizes. The grand winner will receive ₱500,000 tax-free, while category winners and special awardees will also receive cash prizes. The deadline for submissions is July 31, 2025.
