Arun Srinivas has been appointed as the managing director and head of Meta in India. This move comes shortly after Shivnath Thukral, the vice president and head of public policy for Meta in India, resigned from his position. Srinivas currently serves as the head of Meta's ads business in India.
Following the recent announcement of Sandhya Devanathan taking on an expanded role overseeing both India and South East Asia, Srinivas's appointment further solidifies Meta's leadership team in the region. He is set to assume his new role on July 1, 2025, and will continue to report to Devanathan.
