Indian gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar are no longer working together. Here is why

Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, two infamous gangsters in India, have recently severed ties and are no longer collaborating. Bishnoi is currently incarcerated in Sabarmati jail in Gujarat, while Brar is suspected to be operating from the United States. According to sources cited by India Express, the once formidable duo has now gone their separate ways.

The dissolution of their partnership has raised concerns among Indian security agencies, who fear potential turf wars or shifts in loyalties within their extensive network.

Reasons Behind the Split

The reported rift stemmed from Lawrence Bishnoi's displeasure with Goldy Brar and Sachin Godara regarding their handling of his brother Anmol's legal case in the US.

According to intelligence reports, Brar and Godara allegedly failed to assist Anmol in filing the necessary bail bond, resulting in his eventual release with an ankle bracelet tracker. This incident led to the decision by both gangsters to terminate their collaboration. Goldy Brar has since aligned himself with Rohit Godara based in Azerbaijan, while Bishnoi has formed ties with Noni Rana in Canada. The emergence of these new factions has heightened tensions for state police forces.

Recent discussions with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) involved senior police officials from Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi, addressing the escalating situation.

According to sources, a social media post last month claimed responsibility for the murder of Harjit Singh, a businessman in Canada. Singh, who operated a trucking safety and insurance consultancy, was fatally shot outside his office in Mississauga. Notably, the post did not mention Lawrence Bishnoi or other gang members, a departure from their usual practice.

Lawrence Bishnoi gained notoriety for his involvement in various criminal activities, including threats against Bollywood actor Salman Khan, as well as the murders of Sidhu Moosewala and Baba Siddique.
