The smartphone, released by the Trump Organization, appears to come in a gold-coloured metal case etched with the American flag.

The Trump Organization, led by President Donald Trump's children, has introduced a new mobile phone venture called Trump Mobile. Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump announced the initiative from Trump Tower in New York City. The '47 Plan' includes a $499 smartphone and a $47.45 monthly plan, offering unlimited text, talk, data, telehealth benefits, and more. The service will provide free long-distance calling for military members and their families, with no contract or credit check required.

The smartphone features a gold-colored metal case with the American flag etched on it. Eric Trump mentioned that the phones will be manufactured in the U.S., along with a call center in the country. The announcement follows President Trump's threat to impose tariffs on smartphone makers for not producing phones domestically.

This move is part of several ventures announced during Trump's presidency, including real estate deals and partnerships. The Federal Communications Commission is monitoring companies associated with the Trump name. The new telecommunications venture involves a licensing agreement, similar to other products launched by the president and his businesses.

Trump reported earning over $8 million in 2024 from various licensing deals. The announcement coincided with the 10th anniversary of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign announcement at Trump Tower.
