CNN is tracking where the attacks are happening and which Iranian nuclear facilities have been targeted.

Israel recently launched a significant strike on Iran's Ministry of Defense headquarters in Tehran and other locations linked to Iran's nuclear program, sparking a series of missile attacks between the two nations. The conflict has resulted in a rising death toll and heightened tensions.

Iran has reported at least 224 fatalities since the start of hostilities, while Israel has confirmed 24 deaths. The Israeli operation against Iran is anticipated to last for weeks and has received implicit approval from the US. President Donald Trump stated that the US was not involved in the Israeli attacks but left open the possibility of intervention.

CNN is closely monitoring the locations of the attacks and the specific Iranian nuclear facilities that have been targeted.

Following Israel's initial strike, Iran retaliated by launching multiple attacks on various locations in Israel. Explosions were heard in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, with video footage showing smoke rising from both cities. Iran has reportedly fired 370 ballistic missiles and numerous drones at Israel over a four-day period, hitting 30 sites successfully.

While Iran asserts that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, Israel perceives it as a threat. Israeli airstrikes have targeted three of Iran's nuclear facilities - Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow. Satellite images reveal significant damage to structures at Natanz, which is considered Iran's primary uranium enrichment facility and the core of its ballistic missiles program.

At the Isfahan nuclear site, four critical buildings have been damaged, as confirmed by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Satellite imagery shows visible damage to three structures, with the extent of damage to a fourth building still unclear. Iran's Atomic Energy Organization downplayed the damage at the site.

Additional infrastructure, including missile facilities in Kermanshah, Shiraz, and Bid Kaneh, has also been impacted by the Israeli strikes. Satellite images depict destroyed or damaged buildings and vehicle tunnels in Kermanshah, while Shiraz appears to have avoided significant destruction.

Several prominent individuals, including Iran's top military officer, have been killed in the attacks. Iran has begun to fill key positions left vacant by the casualties.
