Adobe has made significant strides in attracting users to its platform for AI capabilities. In addition to the Firefly web app launched in April, the company has now introduced a Firefly mobile app for both iOS and Android.

The new Firefly app allows users to access Adobe's image- and video-generation models, as well as models from OpenAI, Google, and Flux. Users can utilize prompts to generate images or videos, convert images into videos, and edit images using generative fill or expand features.

Adobe Creative Cloud subscribers can initiate projects on the Firefly mobile app and save them in the cloud for easy access through the web or desktop app.

Furthermore, Adobe has expanded its support for third-party models, including Flux.1 Kontext, Ideogram 3.0, and Gen-4 Image. The company has also updated Firefly Boards, its collaborative whiteboarding tool, to enable video generation. Canvas now allows users to create videos using Adobe's video models and competitor models.

According to Adobe, users have generated over 24 billion media assets using Firefly models, with AI features playing a significant role in a 30% increase in first-time subscribers quarter-over-quarter.
