LAHORE – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has claimed that the United States and Israel are now setting their sights on Pakistan, calling it their “next target.” He made the statement during a press conference at Mansoorah, Lahore, on Tuesday.

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has expressed concerns that Pakistan may be the next target of the United States and Israel. He made these remarks during a press conference in Lahore, where he criticized the US for its alleged double standards and support for Israel's expansionist goals.

Naeem accused the US of hypocrisy, citing its military aid to Israel while advocating for peace. He also dismissed US claims about Iran's nuclear program as unfounded and politically motivated.

According to Naeem, the US has a history of genocide in various countries and is now backing Israel's ambitions for a "Greater Israel" by targeting Iran and potentially Pakistan. He emphasized that Pakistan's nuclear capabilities make it a particular focus of this hostility.

The JI leader called on all Muslim nations to stand in solidarity with Iran during this critical period, warning that failure to do so could result in future attacks on other Muslim countries. He criticized Donald Trump's involvement in Kashmir, stating that the US President has not contributed positively to global peace efforts.

Furthermore, Naeem criticized the Pakistani government for raising fuel prices, alleging that the hike was unjustified and could be reduced by removing the petroleum levy. He also condemned the new federal budget as inequitable, burdening the public with excessive taxes and urged the government to address genuine economic challenges.
