US News: Los Angeles is facing unrest as protests intensify against President Trump's immigration raids, leading to looting, including an Apple store incident.

Amid ongoing protests against US President Donald Trump's immigration raids, Los Angeles faced unrest as masked individuals looted an Apple store on Monday night. A viral video captured the incident, showing several people breaking into the store and stealing gadgets, fleeing as police arrived.

President Trump had ordered the deployment of 2000 National Guard troops in the city, with an additional 2000 troops and 700 marines en route to Los Angeles, despite opposition from local officials and Governor Gavin Newsom. The initial troops started arriving on Sunday, following days of violent protests sparked by anger over the immigration enforcement.

During the protests, Trump criticized Los Angeles, accusing Mayor Karen Bass and Governor Newsom of endangering public safety. In response, Governor Newsom condemned the deployment as reckless and disrespectful to the troops, stating that it was more about the President's ego than public safety.

The demonstrations began on Friday after federal immigration authorities increased their enforcement actions, leading to over 40 arrests. While Monday's protests were less intense, tensions remained high in the city.
