Formula 1 has recently announced a new four-year agreement with the Promoter and the Governments of Canada and Québec, ensuring that the Canadian Grand Prix will continue to be held at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal until 2035.

The Canadian Grand Prix, which celebrated its 54th edition last week, has a rich history since its debut in 1967. Drivers like George Russell, Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, and Fernando Alonso have all tasted victory at the 4.36 km circuit. Hamilton and Michael Schumacher hold the record for the most wins at the venue, each with seven triumphs.

The Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, named after the legendary Canadian F1 driver, has been the permanent host since 1978. It is a beloved track known for its challenging chicanes, the iconic hairpin turn, and the famous Wall of Champions at the end of the lap.
