The National Lottery has officially announced that the winning ticket for the massive €250 million EuroMillions jackpot from Tuesday night was bought in a store in the Munster region. This incredible win sets a new record for the largest prize ever claimed in Ireland, surpassing the previous record of €175 million won in February 2019.

The winning numbers for the EuroMillions draw were 13, 22, 23, 44, 49, with the Lucky Stars being 3 and 5. In addition to the main jackpot, a EuroMillions Plus player in Co Wicklow also struck gold by matching all five numbers, winning €500,000. The Plus ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at Selskar Bookshop in Co Wexford, with the winning numbers being 11, 19, 30, 39, and 50.
