Nintendo Switch 2 price, sales hogged all the limelight but a few gamers experienced that Nintendo was taking Switch 2 offline.

Gamers need to be cautious as Nintendo Switch 2 can be permanently taken offline if a certain mistake is made. The use of a Mig flash cartridge to pirate video games or play copied games can result in punitive measures from Nintendo, including receiving error code 2134-4508 and having their consoles banned permanently, as reported by The Verge.

The Switch 2 has set records as the fastest-selling console ever, with 3.5 million units sold in the first four days. This new console features a larger screen and more processing power than its predecessor, the original Switch, which is the third best-selling console of all time.

Nintendo projects sales of 15 million Switch 2 consoles in the current financial year, but faces the challenge of convincing consumers to pay the higher price tag of $449.99 in the US, compared to the original Switch's launch price of $299.99. The console can be connected to a TV or played on the go, similar to its predecessor.

New games for the Switch 2, such as "Donkey Kong Bananza" and "Mario Kart World", offer unique gameplay experiences but come at a higher price point than existing titles. Titles like Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are also available for the new console.
