The movements of the supreme leader, who has not left Iran since he took power, are subject to the tightest security and secrecy.

During a visit to Beersheba, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a strong statement regarding Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, saying that 'no one is immune'.

However, Netanyahu emphasized the importance of choosing words carefully and executing actions with precision during times of conflict.

A senior US official revealed that President Donald Trump was informed of Israeli plans to target Khamenei but advised against it, urging the Israelis not to proceed with the operation.

While Netanyahu has not confirmed or denied the claim, he hinted in a recent television interview that eliminating the 86-year-old cleric could potentially bring an end to the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel.

Despite Trump acknowledging knowledge of Khamenei's whereabouts, he stated that the US would not take action against him at the moment.

Israel conducted airstrikes on Iran last week as a preventive measure to stop the country from obtaining nuclear weapons, targeting numerous military commanders, nuclear scientists, and facilities in the process.
