During their meeting at the Constantine Palace, Putin acknowledged Indonesia's full membership in BRICS and expressed confidence in its significant contributions to the group's influence worldwide.

Prabowo expressed gratitude for Putin's support in Indonesia's BRICS membership and highlighted the improving relations between the two nations.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Indonesian counterpart Sugiono also discussed the potential for a strategic partnership between the two countries during a meeting in Moscow earlier this week.
