Just two days before Israel launched an attack on Iran, Tehran's foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, had a meeting with his Saudi counterpart at a diplomatic retreat in Norway. During the meeting at a hotel outside Oslo, Araghchi updated Prince Faisal Bin Farhan on the status of US nuclear talks. Prince Faisal reiterated Saudi Arabia's warning to Iran about a potential Israeli attack and urged them to quickly reach a deal with the Americans, a message that had been conveyed during Defense Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman's visit to Tehran in April.
