The family of Raja Raghuvanshi, who was tragically murdered during his honeymoon, expressed their confusion over the motive behind the killing. Sonam Raghuvanshi, accused of plotting her husband's murder, along with her alleged paramour Raj Kushwaha, are suspected of hiring men to carry out the crime in Meghalaya.
Raja's brother, Sachin Raghuvanshi, raised concerns about why Raj resorted to murder instead of eloping with Sonam. He questioned the Meghalaya Police's handling of the case, emphasizing that Raj has not disclosed the reason for his actions.
The family is still grappling with the senseless loss of Raja Raghuvanshi and is seeking answers. Sachin expressed frustration over the lack of clarity surrounding the murder and stressed the importance of a narco-test to uncover the truth.
In a recent development, Sonam Raghuvanshi and Raj Kushwaha have been placed in judicial custody for 13 days in connection with the murder case. The police did not request further custody, leading to the court's decision to remand the accused to judicial custody.
Earlier, the court had also sent three other suspects - Akash Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan, and Anand - to 14-day judicial custody in relation to the same case.
