Israel’s military said it struck an Iranian nuclear research facility overnight and killed three senior Iranian commanders in targeted attacks.

During a meeting in Istanbul, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned the United States that getting involved in attacks alongside Israel would be extremely perilous. Araghchi accused the U.S. of being part of the aggression from the beginning. The recent escalation was sparked by Israeli air strikes on Iranian military facilities, with the goal of disrupting Iran's nuclear program. The conflict has been ongoing for nine days, with U.S. President Trump supporting Israel but hesitating to intervene militarily.

Araghchi emphasized that Iran is open to a negotiated solution regarding its nuclear program. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling him the 'biggest obstacle to regional peace' and accusing him of having ambitions that could lead to a global disaster.

The recent Israeli attack targeted two centrifuge production sites, adding to previous strikes on similar facilities. The Israel Defense Force claimed to have killed Saeed Izadi, a commander in Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps responsible for working with Palestinian militants. Izadi was reportedly eliminated in the city of Qom after extensive intelligence gathering.
