A pack of suspected floating shabu was found by fishermen in the sea of Barangay Bisagu, Aparri, Cagayan on Friday, June 20. The contraband, weighing 1.5 kilograms and valued at P10.2 million, was labeled 66 and packed in a heat-sealed transparent plastic bag with the logo of a durian fruit.

The illegal drug was handed over to the Aparri Police Station and taken into custody by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 2 for further examination. Similar items have been discovered by fishermen in the province's sea in recent days, with two sacks found in Claveria on June 14 and one pack in Santa Praxedes.

The PDEA has estimated the value of these discoveries to be in the millions.
