A campervan at Traeth y Greigddu (Black Rock Sands) in Wales was swept out to sea after getting stuck in the sand, despite rescue attempts by jet skiers. The incident occurred near Porthmadog on Friday, with images and videos circulating online showing the motorhome being engulfed by the advancing sea. Eyewitnesses mentioned that jet skiers tried to save the campervan, as they were attending a fundraising event by Colwyn PWC Riders, raising over £25,000 for charity.

The campervan had a series of mishaps that day, initially getting stuck but being rescued with the help of jet ski riders. Unfortunately, it became trapped in the sand again later on. Around six jet skiers and other individuals gathered to assist the stranded vehicle, attempting to tow it to safety with a pick-up truck and a 4x4 Land Rover Defender. Despite multiple efforts, the campervan remained stuck, leading to the need for a tractor to finally retrieve it.
