Pictures of the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition have leaked on the Web, and a rumor suggests it will be launched in mere days.

A leak of the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition has surfaced online, hinting at an imminent launch. The leaked images, shared by user Zuby_Tech, suggest that the branded VR device could hit the market as soon as Tuesday, June 24, according to reports from Game Sandwich.

The Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition is expected to feature a black and green headset along with matching accessories, an Elite Strap, an Xbox wireless controller, and a three-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Internally, it will boast the same 128 GB standard system memory as the regular Meta Quest 3S, with a price tag of $399.

Meta made headlines in April 2024 when it opened its operating system to third-party hardware manufacturers. ASUS was one of the first to announce plans for a high-performance ROG VR headset, with Meta also teasing a limited edition Xbox-branded Meta Quest.

Microsoft has been working on integrating Meta Quest with the Xbox ecosystem for some time now. In late 2023, Xbox Cloud Gaming was made available on the VR headset, allowing Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to stream games directly to their Meta Quest and enjoy them on a virtual 2D screen at 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second.

This move is part of Microsoft's broader strategy to expand the Xbox experience to a wide range of devices, including TVs, smartphones, and VR headsets. While the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition may not revolutionize the gaming industry, it is another step towards Microsoft's goal of making Xbox accessible on various platforms.
