Punjab Government has made the decision to establish a cutting-edge institute dedicated to the treatment of diabetes and endocrinology, as reported by 24NewsHDTV Channel on Saturday.
The upcoming Punjab Institute of Diabetes and Endocrinology will be located at Services Hospital in Lahore. An amount of Rs 200 million has been earmarked for this initiative in the provincial budget.
Officials have confirmed that the current Diabetes Center at Services Hospital will undergo upgrades and be transformed into a modern institute to improve diabetes care and research facilities in the region.
