Television actors Lataa Saberwal and Sanjeev Seth, who are well-known for their roles in the TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, have decided to part ways after being married for 16 years. Lataa took to Instagram to share this emotional news with her followers.

Lataa Saberwal posted on Instagram, declaring her separation from Sanjeev Seth. She expressed her gratitude towards him for their son and wished him well for the future. Lataa also requested everyone to respect their privacy and refrain from asking questions or contacting them regarding this matter.

Lataa and Sanjeev's Relationship

Lataa and Sanjeev portrayed the roles of Akshara's parents on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. They met on the set of the show and got married in 2009. The couple has a son named Aarav. Prior to Lataa, Sanjeev was married to actor Resham Tipnis and has a daughter and a son from that marriage. They also showcased their chemistry off-screen by participating in Nach Baliye 6 in 2013.

Aside from her TV work, Lataa has appeared in Bollywood films like Ishq Vishk, Vivah, and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. However, her role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke remains her most recognized. She has also been part of shows like Ishq Mein Marjawan, Ghar Ek Sapnaa, and Naaginn. In 2021, Lataa decided to shift her focus to digital platforms and personal growth, bidding adieu to television.

Sanjeev has been part of TV shows such as Aashirwad, Karishma Kaa Karishma, and Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki. He made his film debut in Junaid Khan's Mahara,j alongside Jaideep Ahlawat. His upcoming project is De De Pyaar De 2, where he will star alongside Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Jimmy Sheirgill.
