Greater Western Sydney and Gold Coast are set to face off in a crucial match in the finals race on Sunday. The Giants, coming off a strong win against Brisbane, will be looking to secure another victory. Both teams have recorded eight wins so far this season, with the Suns playing two fewer games. Gold Coast, on the other hand, is looking to bounce back after back-to-back losses before their bye week.

The Giants will have captain Toby Greene and recruit Jake Stringer back in action after injury, along with youngster Ryan Angwin making a return. However, star defender Sam Taylor, Brent Daniels, and Josaia Delana will be missing from the team. Stringer will start as the sub for the Giants, while Nick Holman will be the starting sub for the Suns. Gold Coast has also made three changes to its lineup, with Lachie Weller, Ethan Read, and Connor Budarick coming in for Sean Lemmens, David Swallow, and Leo Lombard.

In another game, the Western Bulldogs will be facing off against the Richmond Tigers at Marvel Stadium. The Bulldogs, fresh off a big win against St Kilda, will be looking to continue their winning streak. With coach Luke Beveridge recently re-signed, the Bulldogs are in good spirits. On the other hand, the Tigers, who are 3-10, will be aiming to turn their season around after a bye week in round 14. Debutant Jasper Alger will be replacing injured Kane McAuliffe for Richmond, while Nick Coffield returns for the Bulldogs in place of Luke Cleary.
