Centro Escolar University (CEU) has accomplished a remarkable feat by achieving a 100 percent passing rate for first-time takers in both elementary and secondary levels of the March 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT). This outstanding performance was based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in May.
The impeccable passing rate was achieved by examinees from CEU's Manila and Malolos campuses, showcasing the dedication and excellence of the university's students.
Furthermore, CEU's results have exceeded the national passing rates of 46.77 percent for the elementary level and 62.27 percent for the secondary level, underscoring the high quality of education provided by the institution.
The exceptional performance of graduates from CEU's School of Education, Liberal Arts, Music, and Social Work (SELAMS) has been highlighted, particularly in programs such as Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECE), Bachelor of Special Needs Education (BSNEd), Bachelor of Special Needs Education with Specialization in Early Childhood Education (BSNEd-ECE), and Bachelor of Secondary Education with majors in English, Mathematics, and Science.
On a national scale, a total of 16,282 out of 34,810 examinees (46.77 percent) passed the elementary level, while 38,747 out of 62,225 examinees (62.27 percent) passed the secondary level of the LEPT. The examination took place on March 23 across 38 testing centers nationwide.
Among the elementary passers, 13,819 were first-time takers and 2,463 were repeaters. In the secondary level, 32,624 first-time takers and 6,123 repeaters successfully passed the exam.
