President Donald Trump said "there are many targets left" in Iran if talks fail to end the war with Israel.

President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that the United States conducted airstrikes on three key nuclear sites in Iran, targeting Fordo, Natanz, and Esfahan.

In a speech from the White House, Trump stated, "A short time ago, the U.S. military carried out massive precision strikes on the three key nuclear facilities in the Iranian regime, Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan." He emphasized the collaboration between the U.S. and Israel, calling it unprecedented.

Trump praised the operation, stating, "We've gone a long way to erasing this horrible threat to Israel." He commended the American military personnel involved in the mission, highlighting the precision and skill demonstrated.

Trump warned Iran of further consequences if peace is not achieved quickly, stating, "There will be either peace, or there will be tragedy for Iran far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days. Remember, there are many targets left."

The airstrikes mark a significant escalation in the conflict between the U.S. and Iran, as the U.S. joins Israel in its efforts to dismantle Iran's nuclear program and regime.

Earlier in the day, U.S. Air Force B-2 stealth bombers were reported to have departed from Missouri, carrying the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP), a powerful bomb capable of targeting underground facilities like the Fordo nuclear site.

Following the strikes, Trump spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss the military action.

This decision to engage in armed conflict with Iran contradicts Trump's previous statements of avoiding military involvement in the Middle East during his second term in office. Just two days prior, Trump had expressed a willingness to explore diplomatic solutions before resorting to military action.

Despite ongoing negotiations between the U.S. and Iran regarding the nuclear program, the recent airstrikes demonstrate a shift in approach, indicating a more aggressive stance against Iran.
