With LSU's Kade Anderson and Coastal Carolina's Cameron Flukey on the mound, we're in for a pitcher's duel

LSU and Coastal Carolina are set to battle it out in the first game of the College World Series finals, with both teams vying for a shot at the national championship. The No. 6-seed Tigers and No. 13-seed Chanticleers are gearing up for what promises to be an intense pitcher's duel in Omaha.

Left-hander Kade Anderson (11-1, 3.44) will take the mound for LSU, while righty Cameron Flukey (8-1, 3.29) will pitch for Coastal Carolina. Both teams have been dominant in Omaha, with perfect 3-0 records in their respective brackets. Coastal Carolina is riding a 26-game winning streak, dating back to April 22.

LSU is aiming for its eighth national championship, which would make them the only program with four titles this century. Head coach Jay Johnson has led the Tigers to the top before and is looking to add another title to his resume. On the other side, Coastal Carolina is seeking its second championship, with coach Kevin Schnall leading the charge in his debut season.
