Heading into the final round of the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, Leona Maguire finds herself in a share of sixth place. The Cavan native posted a level-par 72 in her third round, bringing her total score to two over for the tournament. She currently sits eight shots behind the leader, Minjee Lee from Australia, who is six under.

Despite a rocky start that included a double bogey on the second hole and another dropped shot on the fifth, Maguire managed to turn her game around. She recorded a birdie on the seventh hole, followed by two more on the tenth and 17th, propelling her up the leaderboard.

As it stands, Lee is leading the field by four shots, with Jeeno Thitikul from Thailand as the only other player under par at two under. Maguire is just one shot behind a trio of players who are on one over.
