Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette hit home runs to lead the Toronto Blue Jays to a 7-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox. José Berríos pitched a strong game, allowing only one unearned run and two hits in 7 2/3 innings. This win marked his first since May 29.

The White Sox, who are currently in last place, struggled offensively with only two hits in the game, resulting in their ninth loss in the last ten games. They have a poor 8-32 record on the road this season.

Toronto's Davis Schneider contributed with two hits and three RBIs, helping the team recover from their previous 7-1 loss in the series opener on Friday.

The Blue Jays took an early lead with Bichette's leadoff homer in the first inning, followed by three more runs in the second inning from five singles. The team capitalized on a throwing error and run-scoring hits to extend their lead.

Although Chicago's Miguel Vargas scored on a throwing error by Guerrero in the sixth inning, Guerrero made up for it with a two-out homer in the seventh, his 10th of the season.

White Sox's Aaron Civale struggled, giving up five runs and nine hits in seven innings. Bichette's home run on Civale's first pitch marked his 11th of the season and his third leadoff homer this year.

Looking ahead, the Blue Jays will have Chris Bassitt on the mound for the series finale against White Sox's Adrian Houser.
