Eugene (Jane) Mc Carthy, a resident of Garryduff in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully at his home on the 9th of June 2025.

He was pre-deceased by his parents Tom and Annie, Infant Daughter Siobhán, brothers Paddy, Tom and Dan, and sister Mary. He is survived by his Loving wife Joan, son Eoin, daughters Penny, Róisín and Aisling, sons-in-law Ken, Paul, and Anthony, grandchildren Alannah, Lucy, Alice, Liam, Cara, Logan, Alex, James, Siobhán, Harvey, and Jayne, brothers Murt, Ned, and Jack, sisters Peg and Anne, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Reposing will take place at Riedy's Funeral Home in Newcastle West on Wednesday, the 11th of June from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. The funeral will be held at Monagea Church on Thursday, with a Requiem Mass at 3 pm followed by burial in the local cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Milford Care Centre or Irish Cancer Society.
