Dipika Kakar Gives Health Update

Shoaib shared a video on YouTube where Dipika made her first post-surgery appearance. She became emotional and thanked everyone for their prayers and well-wishes.

In the video, Dipika expressed her gratitude, saying, "I am extremely thankful to you all for keeping me in your prayers and thoughts. The nurses were also extremely kind and positive. Several others, family members of other patients, were so nice and kind to me. I am feeling much much better."

She also mentioned the pain she experienced when coughing due to the stitches. Dipika reassured her fans that she will provide more updates once she recovers further.

Dipika Kakar's 14-Hour Surgery

Recently, Dipika Kakar underwent a 14-hour surgery for her stage 2 liver cancer. Shoaib shared in his Vlog that during the surgery, Dipika's gall bladder and a small portion of her liver were removed. The tumour was successfully removed, and a small part of the liver was cut due to the tumour. However, Shoaib emphasized that the liver can regenerate itself.

Prior to the surgery, Dipika had shared on Instagram about her diagnosis with stage 2 liver cancer, calling it a challenging time for her and her family.
