Renowned Wexford tenor and TV personality, Michael Londra, is set to return to Ireland this month to film the sixth season of his successful TV series.
'Ireland With Michael' is a highly acclaimed show that reaches millions of viewers in the United States through PBS, an American TV network, with the filming supported by Tourism Ireland, Fáilte Ireland, and Tourism NI.
Season six, scheduled to premiere in early 2026, will consist of eight half-hour episodes shot at various locations throughout Ireland.
This season will include a 'catch and cook' segment with popular chef Donal Skehan, filmed in Howth.
Additional filming locations will include the Hill of Tara, Knowth, Dowth, and Trim Castle in Co Meath; Navan Centre & Fort and Long Meadow Cider in Co Armagh; and Killykeeghan National Nature Reserve in Co Fermanagh.
Michael and the crew will explore Sliabh Liag in south-west Co Donegal, travel along the Wild Atlantic Way to Inishbofin and Doolin, and engage in various music, cultural, and outdoor activities.
These activities range from traditional music sessions, set dancing, and road bowling to electric biking in Glenveagh National Park, kayaking on Lower Lough Erne to Devenish Island, a sheepdog demonstration at Atlantic Sheepdogs in Co Sligo, and learning about distilling at Loop Head Distillers.
Alison Metcalfe, head of North America at Tourism Ireland, expressed excitement in supporting the filming process and looks forward to the show airing on the PBS network next year.
PBS is accessible to over 100 million households in the United States, providing a fantastic opportunity to showcase Ireland's rich culture and authentic visitor experiences to a vast audience.
