A tragic incident occurred in Pandag, Maguindanao del Sur, where a female motorcycle rider lost her life and her two children were injured after being struck by a bus.

As reported by GMA Regional TV's Efren Mamac on 'Saksi', the woman tragically slipped under the bus during the accident, while her children, aged 10 and 11, were thrown from the impact.

It was revealed that the victims were en route to Buluan for school enrollment when the unfortunate incident took place.

According to PSSGT. Rizalde Sumensil, the duty investigator at Pandag Municipal Police Station, the bus driver attempted to avoid a rough patch on the road, honked to alert the motorcycle in front, but still ended up colliding with it. This collision caused the female rider to fall and get trapped under the bus's front tire.

Thankfully, the two children only suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Currently, the bus driver is in police custody, and GMA Regional TV is working to obtain a statement from him regarding the incident.
