RTÉ is currently looking for two new radio presenters and is accepting applications for potential on-air television positions.
The Irish national broadcaster, RTÉ, has put out a call for individuals interested in on-air roles within RTÉ News and Current Affairs, as well as Radio One.
They plan to compile a list of potential presenters every two years in various areas such as news, current affairs, speech programming, entertainment, sports, music, and the arts.
When a presenting position opens up, the long-list will be utilized as part of the selection process to identify suitable candidates.
RTÉ stated that a shortlist will be created based on specific weighted criteria for each role.
RTÉ Radio 1 is currently seeking a presenter for Liveline, following Joe Duffy's upcoming retirement.
Additionally, RTÉ News and Current Affairs has an opening for a presenter with an initial focus on radio news programs and podcasting.
Individuals who make it to the shortlist will need to go through a further selection process for specific roles.
The details of this process will be shared at a later date and may involve interviews or a pilot program.
Interested applicants are encouraged to submit a cover letter, CV, and a 10-minute showreel.
