London-based technology company Nothing has revealed that its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Phone 3, will be manufactured locally in India as part of the company's growing regional operations.

The Phone 3 will be assembled at Nothing's manufacturing facility situated in Chennai, showcasing the company's dedication to local production.

This move signifies Nothing's ongoing commitment to producing all its smartphones in India, with the Phone 3 being hailed as the company's first true flagship device.

Nothing has been steadily expanding its service infrastructure throughout India, currently managing five exclusive service centres in major cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai.

In addition to these centres, Nothing also operates 20 priority service desks, with plans to establish 10 more locations in the near future. The company's service network extends to over 330 authorized service centres across the country.

Furthermore, Nothing's retail footprint has seen remarkable growth, growing from 2,000 stores at the start of 2024 to 10,000 stores presently, underscoring the company's heightened focus on the Indian market as a pivotal region for its operations.

Akis Evangelidis, Co-Founder and India President at Nothing, highlighted the significance of the Indian market to the company's overall strategy. He emphasized Nothing's long-standing connection with India, showcasing its alignment with the Make in India initiative through investments in local manufacturing, talent development, and innovation.

Evangelidis expressed excitement for Indian users to experience what the company touts as its most advanced smartphone offering yet.
