The Singapore Police Force issued an advisory on Thursday (Jun 12), reminding fans to stay vigilant and only purchase tickets to Blackpink's Singapore concert via Ticketmaster.

As tickets for the highly anticipated Blackpink concert in Singapore are being sold, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) has issued a warning to fans to be cautious and only purchase tickets through Ticketmaster, the official ticketing platform.

The advisory, released on Thursday evening (Jun 12), highlighted the various ways scammers could deceive fans into buying fake tickets. These methods include creating listings on platforms like Xiaohongshu, Carousell, and Telegram, using fabricated screenshots or videos of tickets.

The scammers may also falsely claim that ticket sales are time-sensitive or limited in quantity, and assure victims that they will receive the tickets after payment. In some instances, when victims fail to receive their tickets, scammers may demand additional payments by alleging that they never received the initial payment.
