Sunjay Kapur Leaves ₹14 Crore Bonds for Kids

In 2003, Karisma Kapoor married industrialist Sunjay Kapur, but they went their separate ways after the birth of their two children, Samaira and Kiaan, in 2014. An old post by ANI revealed that Sunjay purchased bonds worth ₹14 crore for their children.

After filing for divorce in 2014 and withdrawing it due to complications, the divorce was finalized in 2016. Additionally, Sunjay transferred a family-owned home in Mumbai to Karisma as part of the divorce settlement.

About Sunjay Kapur

Over the years, the relationship between the former couple seemed to have improved. Sunjay shared a picture from his daughter Samaira's 18th birthday in 2023, where Karisma and his current wife, Priya Sachdev, were present. Priya, a former model, has a daughter from a previous marriage and a son with Sunjay. Sunjay's first marriage was to fashion designer Nandita Mahtani in 1996.

Following Sunjay's death, reports suggested that he passed away from a heart attack, possibly after swallowing a bee during a polo match in England. His company, Sona Comstar, confirmed the cause of death as a heart attack without providing further details.

Karisma's sister, Kareena Kapoor, brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan, and friends like Malaika Arora, offered their support to her during this difficult time.
