PTI leader Aliya Hamza recently made strong allegations against the government, accusing them of silencing the judiciary and public voices. Speaking outside an anti-terrorism court, she criticized the handling of national affairs and the judicial process. Hamza, who is also the PTI organizer for Punjab, expressed frustration over facing legal cases every time her party stages a protest, moving from one court to another. She highlighted the impact of inflation on sacrificial animal purchases and criticized the absence of judges and prosecutors, blaming the 26th Constitutional Amendment for sidelining the judiciary.
Describing the current rulers as a 'curse imposed on the nation,' Hamza pointed out the rising unemployment rate and the devastating effects of the federal budget. She announced PTI's plans to engage with the people and farmers, setting up mock assemblies to protest what she called the theft of the public mandate. Emphasizing the party's commitment to peaceful demonstrations, she vowed to uphold constitutionalism and the rule of law, aiming to free the 'captive judiciary' and restore democracy.
During a hearing related to the November 26 protest, the anti-terrorism court extended Hamza's interim bail until June 27, allowing her to continue her legal battle.
