Residents of a barangay in Liloan town, Cebu province were shocked to discover three abandoned newborn babies in a harrowing incident. The babies were found in a plastic container by a worker in Barangay Cotcot on Friday, June 13.

The worker, Naciansino Gunato Bazarte, stumbled upon the tragic scene while piling up recyclable materials at JIP Plastics. He was taken aback to find the lifeless bodies of the newborns inside the container.

Authorities suspect that the babies may have originated from a birthing center, as all three infants had complete body parts and wristbands. An investigation is underway to determine the individuals responsible for this heartbreaking act of abandonment.
