Barefoot Theatre Collaborative has confirmed the comeback of Bar Boys: A New Musical this October 2025 at Hyundai Hall, Areté, in Quezon City. After its highly praised debut in 2024, the popular production is making a return with the original cast and compelling storytelling that captured audiences before.
The lead roles will once again be played by Benedix Ramos as Erik, Alex Diaz as Chris, Jerom Canlas as Torran, Omar Uddin as Josh, and Sheila Francisco as Justice Hernandez.
Based on Kip Oebanda’s 2017 film favorite, Bar Boys: A New Musical transforms the movie into a captivating stage show with original music and dynamic choreography. The story follows four young men navigating the challenges of law school, driven by ambition, idealism, and the desire to make a difference. However, as they progress, friendships are tested, and they must confront difficult truths about justice, sacrifice, and personal growth.
Going beyond legal education, the musical explores themes of family, purpose, and change in society. With a score that blends humor, heartbreak, and hope, Bar Boys resonates with anyone who has pursued a dream against all odds.
In a gesture of gratitude, the team is offering a 30 percent discount on selected shows for returning audience members from the previous year. They expressed their appreciation on social media, saying, “To our FIRST BELIEVERS, those who watched our 2024 run, we have a special gift for you.”
Details about tickets and performances will be revealed in the upcoming weeks.
