Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman called further nuclear talks with the US “meaningless” after Israeli strikes on the country, state television said.

Iran stated that any future discussions with the US regarding Tehran's nuclear program are deemed 'meaningless' following Israel's recent military strikes on the country, accusing Washington of supporting the attacks.

According to the semi-official Tasnim news agency, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmaeil Baghaei, mentioned that the US's actions have made dialogue futile. Baghaei criticized the US for allowing Israel to target Iran's territory while claiming to engage in negotiations.

Baghaei further stated that Israel's recent attack was made possible with Washington's approval, indicating that the Israeli strike had a significant impact on the diplomatic process.

Despite Iran's accusations of the US being complicit in Israel's strikes, Washington refuted the claims and advised Tehran at the United Nations Security Council to consider engaging in talks regarding its nuclear program.

The sixth round of US-Iran nuclear talks, scheduled to take place in Muscat on Sunday, was uncertain following the Israeli military actions. Iran maintains that its uranium enrichment program is solely for civilian purposes, refuting Israeli accusations of developing nuclear weapons in secret.
