Actress Dipika Kakar has been released from the hospital after undergoing cancer surgery that lasted 11 days. She has been diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer. Her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, shared an update on her health in a recent vlog, mentioning that they will need to return for follow-up sessions due to the malignant nature of the tumor.

In the video, Dipika is visibly emotional as she bids farewell to the hospital, sharing a heartfelt hug with her doctor before leaving.

Shoaib expressed, "Dipika was discharged after 11 days and is here for a check-up. This period has been extremely challenging for me and my family, but we are grateful for the prayers and support. This is just the beginning; there are still many hurdles ahead. The surgery went well, and Dipika is recovering. However, there are more steps to take. We will continue to follow the doctor's advice. When we found out the tumor was malignant, we were both in tears. The doctor gave us time to process the news."

He further mentioned, "Everything is stable, but we have to keep returning for check-ups due to the malignancy of the tumor. The situation requires monitoring, and we have another appointment next week to determine the next course of action. We are taking things one step at a time."

Upon returning home, Dipika shared a touching moment with her son Ruhaan, who eagerly greeted her. The family welcomed her back with open arms.

In the vlog, while Dipika remained mostly silent, Shoaib provided updates. Towards the end, they both expressed gratitude to their fans for the outpouring of love and support. Dipika emotionally expressed, "The prayers and thoughts from all of you meant the world to us. Your support has been our strength during this challenging time."
