Families of the Air India plane crash victims in Ahmedabad grapple with immense grief and uncertainty as they provide DNA samples for identification.

A heart-wrenching video of a daughter named Falguni went viral as she expressed her willingness to pay Rs 2 crore to the Tata Group in hopes of bringing back her father who was a victim of the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad. This emotional plea shed light on the immense grief and sorrow experienced by the families of the victims who gathered at BJ Medical College to provide DNA samples for identification.

Emotions ran high as families grappled with the devastating loss, with many seen breaking down or trying to come to terms with the tragedy. Falguni's poignant statement underscored the deep sense of loss and helplessness felt by the families affected by the plane crash.

Officials at the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad confirmed that the sampling of 219 individuals had been completed, including a few foreign nationals. The DNA analysis of the human remains is currently underway, and once the matching process is completed, the bodies will be identified and handed over to the respective families.

Multiple teams have been assigned the task of analyzing the DNA samples of the deceased, although the process is expected to take 48 to 72 hours. The initial identification phase is set to commence by Saturday, marking a significant challenge for Gujarat's forensic experts who have previously worked on identifying victims of tragic incidents like the Rajkot game zone fire.
