Specialised firefighting and rescue units successfully evacuated all 3,820 residents from 764 apartments in the high-rise, ensuring that every individual was safely escorted out.

A massive fire erupted in a 67-storey residential skyscraper in Dubai Marina during the early hours of Saturday, leading to a swift emergency response and successful evacuation of more than 3,800 residents. The blaze, which engulfed Marina Pinnacle, also known as Tiger Tower, resulted in no injuries or casualties.

Khaleej Times reported that Dubai Civil Defence teams worked diligently for six hours to bring the fire under control. Specialized firefighting and rescue units managed to evacuate all 3,820 residents from 764 apartments in the high-rise, ensuring the safe exit of every individual. The Dubai Media Office (DMO) confirmed that the evacuation was carried out without any incidents.

Control measures are currently in place, and firefighting teams are actively managing the situation. The smoke visible at the site is a result of ongoing cooling operations.

Authorities are collaborating with the building's developer to provide temporary accommodation for the displaced residents, prioritizing their safety and well-being. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

This is not the first fire incident at Marina Pinnacle. In 2015, a kitchen fire on the 47th floor spread to the 48th floor before being contained. The tower is situated near The Torch, another residential skyscraper that experienced fires in 2015 and 2017.

While officials praised the evacuation operation, some residents expressed concerns about the initial response within the building, citing a lack of urgency. Reports in Gulf News highlighted that certain residents were unaware of the fire until they saw fire trucks outside or heard neighbors alerting them.

Despite initial confusion, Dubai Civil Defence swiftly and efficiently executed the evacuation plan. Firefighters safely guided residents, including pets, through stairwells and elevators, resulting in no reported casualties.
