The iconic Irish rock band, The Saw Doctors, will be returning to Limerick for a headline performance at Live at the Docklands this summer. Known for their energetic performances and heartfelt music, the band continues to captivate fans of all ages with their classic hits.

Following a successful show at Musgrave Park in Cork, The Saw Doctors are enjoying a resurgence in popularity and fan appreciation. Their 2023 comeback tour included sold-out shows in London, New York, and a memorable homecoming in Tuam after a five-year hiatus.

Originating from Tuam, Co Galway in the late 1980s, The Saw Doctors gained fame with the chart-topping single 'I Useta Lover,' which surpassed the likes of U2 and Sinéad O'Connor. Their unique blend of poignant lyrics, melodic tunes, and Irish storytelling has endeared them to audiences worldwide.

Fronted by original members Davy Carton and Leo Moran, the band's current lineup features talented musicians such as Anthony Thistlethwaite, Rickie O'Neill, Pearse Doherty, Kieran Duddy, Noelie McDonnell, and Tommy Carton. Renowned for their electrifying live shows, The Saw Doctors have performed to packed venues in Ireland, the UK, and the US, including prestigious events like Glastonbury and T in the Park.

Mick Dolan, from Dolans Presents, expressed his excitement for the upcoming concert, highlighting the band's historical connection to Limerick. The Saw Doctors previously performed at the Docks in 2008 and are set to join a stellar lineup for the Docklands Festival, which includes Moncrieff, Picture This, Block Rockin' Beats, The Waterboys, Kingfishr, Qween with the Dublin Gospel Choir, and The Kaiser Chiefs.

Don't miss The Saw Doctors and special guests at Live at the Docklands on Friday, August 15. Tickets priced at €57.80, including booking fees, will be available for purchase starting this Friday, June 20 at 9am on Dolans.ie and Ticketmaster.ie.
