Oil companies in Manila are preparing to implement a substantial increase in pump prices starting Tuesday morning. In separate announcements, Shell, Seaoil, CleanFuel, PetroGazz, Caltex, and PTT have stated that they will raise gasoline and diesel prices by PHP1.80 per liter. Additionally, Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell will increase kerosene prices by PHP1.50 per liter. It is expected that other oil firms will also follow suit in the coming days.
Last week, these oil companies raised gasoline prices by 60 centavos per liter, diesel prices by 95 centavos per liter, and kerosene prices by 30 centavos per liter.
