Following a recent tragic incident involving a London-bound Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, Air India has experienced several cancellations of international flights, mostly involving the Dreamliner aircraft. The airline cited various reasons for the cancellations, including mandatory inspections and operational issues.

One of the affected routes was the flight from Ahmedabad to Gatwick in London, which was cancelled due to airspace restrictions and additional precautionary checks. Air India clarified that the cancellation was not due to any technical issues and apologized for the inconvenience caused to passengers.

Similarly, the London Gatwick to Amritsar flight and the Paris-bound flight from Delhi were also cancelled due to various operational reasons. Air India assured passengers of alternative arrangements, including hotel accommodation, refunds, and complimentary rescheduling.

Furthermore, an Air India flight from San Francisco to Mumbai was grounded in Kolkata after a suspected technical issue. Passengers were safely deplaned, and the airline is working to address the situation promptly.

Another flight from Bengaluru to London Heathrow was preemptively cancelled due to aircraft unavailability following government-mandated inspections. The airline informed affected passengers in advance about the cancellation.

Additionally, an IndiGo flight made an emergency landing in Nagpur after a bomb threat was received. Passengers were safely evacuated, and authorities are currently investigating the situation.

These recent incidents have led to disruptions in Air India's operations, highlighting the challenges faced by the airline in maintaining its flight schedules amidst various operational and safety concerns.
