Itel A90 has recently been introduced in Pakistan as the latest entry-level device from the company. This new smartphone comes with a fresh design, an improved SoC, and an IP54 rating to protect against water and dust. While it offers some impressive specifications for its price range, there are also some compromises that potential buyers should take into consideration.

Despite being the successor to the itel A80, the A90 boasts a different set of specs and design elements. It features a downgraded display and a less powerful camera system compared to its predecessor.

The A90 comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 6.6-inch display with a resolution of 720p. The device now sports a V-notch instead of a punch-hole cutout, and the front-facing camera is a 5MP shooter.

On the back, the itel A90 is equipped with a 13MP primary camera with AutoFocus, capable of recording 1080p 30 FPS videos. The phone also features the new Unisoc T7100 SoC clocked at 1800 MHz with a more robust PowerVR GPU.

The Pakistani variant of the itel A90 offers 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. The display has been upgraded to 1500 nits brightness, making it easier to read in bright environments.

For the first time in the itel A series, the A90 comes with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. This enhancement aims to improve the overall durability of itel devices, addressing a common concern among users.

Running on Android 14 with itel OS 14 firmware, the A90 retains features like a side fingerprint reader and a 5000mAh battery from its predecessor. However, it offers faster 15W charging for quicker battery refills. The Itel A90 (4/128GB) variant is now available in Pakistan for Rs 20,999.
